Koh-I-Noor FA8911.12 Progresso Woodless Graphite Pencil Set in Plastic Tray, Set of 12
PROGRESSO WOODLESS
Koh-I-Noor’s Progresso Woodless pencils are unique solid color lead sticks with a lacquer coating. They have a pleasantly weighty feel and contain a wide range of dense, evenly dispersed pigments that lay down easily. They work beautifully in delicate layers or in heavy strokes, and because of the softness of the lead they blend extraordinarily well. Since there is no wood casing, woodless colored pencils are excellent for precise artwork as well as broad, loose strokes, and shading work. They can be sharpened with a traditional pencil sharpener, and the shavings can be used for smudging in color.
WOODLESS GRAPHITE
An artist favorite, these pencils are made entirely of graphite and coated in lacquer to keep hands clean. The solid core gives the artist 5 times more lead than a traditional graphite pencil. They have a solid, weighty feel and glide smoothly across the paper when used on point or on their broad side. They may be used with any traditional hand held or electric sharpener to achieve a fine point. The shavings may also be used to smudge. The dense, artist degree range of Hardmuth graphite lays down value in rich, deep tones to effortlessly define form and spatial relationships.
